Ski resort

Paavonrinteet is a speedy and advantageous ski centre for the whole family. The centre is located 65 km from Jyväskylä, in the direction of Kokkola, alongside highway 13, 2 km before the centre of Saarijärvi. The well cared for ski centre has five slopes, height difference 75 m, the longest slope 700 m.

Two lifts, of which the children’s lift is free of charge. In addition, a sledding hill, slope cafeteria, ski rental and care plus an advance booking ski school and jumping hills (artificial slope) K26 and K44.

There is a rest shelter and fire wood shelter adjacent to the car parking area.

Close by is a competition skiing centre which fulfils international measures, from which there are good connections to Central Finland’s provincial cross country skiing tracks.
