Ski resort

The Ruunarinteet Ski centre is 9 km from the centre of Savonlinna. Due to the very safe and easy to use ski lifts plus the wide and mild slopes, we offer a wonderful background for the teaching and practice of carving skiing and carving snow boarding.

The black and red slopes that were opened in 1965 are there to serve more capable skiers. The cafeteria’s donuts and hot chocolate drinks are favourites with small sledding enthusiasts.

Our rental services that were opened in 2005 are able to serve even larger groups quickly and flexible. From the top of the hills, opens up one of Eastern Finland’s most beautiful landscapes, Pihlajavesi.

The neighbouring municipalities; Sulkava, Rantasalmi, Kerimäki and Punkaharju offer quality cottage accommodation plus Savinlinna’s hotels and other accommodation choices for winter activities, guarantee a successful winter holiday.
