Ski resort

Uuperinrinteet is located in Kymenlaakso between Hamina and Kotka, 160 km from Helsinki and 50 km from the Russian border.

The first ski lift was opened in 1989 and over the years, the centre has developed and currently has 6 slopes and 4 lifts. Free lift for the kids.

As a southern ski centre, Uuperinrinteet offers surprisingly diverse slopes, from a family slope to a black category slope + Snow Park.

As Russian tourism is increasing, the future challenge will be to increase the capacity of the slopes and lifts.

For the cross-country skiiers we have a skating / classic skiing track travelling from Uuperi to Hamina’s Ruissalo, 20 km.
