Nordic skiing tracks open
Hervanta Alps is an urban ski resort located in the Pirkanmaa area, to the south of Tampere. Hervanta has 4 lifts and 4 illuminated slopes: Kids’ slope, Beginners’ slope, Slope 1, and Slope 2 with the Snow Park. The longest slope is 350 m long and the biggest altitude difference is 59 m.
Hervanta offers a lot of ancillary services to the ski-lovers, such as equipment rental and maintenance, a cafe, a skiing school, a sledge slope and a picnic place.
In addition, the area has a network of tracks for cross-country skiing, which connects resort’s surroundings with Tampere. There is 1,6 km of illuminated tracks (open subject to weather conditions), and tracks are maintained by the city of Tampere.

How to get there?
It’s easy to reach Hervanta by local TKL buses no 6, 23, and 30. You can also come by car – there’s a free parking area at the resort.
