Renting the gear gives an easy start

In order to have a great day on the slopes, start by choosing the right boots in the rental shop. This choice is definitely worth investing in. You know you’ve made the right choice when the boots are firmly attached to the leg, without pain. Beginners feel often that the boot they tried on fits well, but will find them too big once in the slopes. If the boot is too loose, feet are able to move too much in the boots and you won’t have enough control. Thus, you may encounter difficulties turnings, for example. When you think you’ve found a comfortable size, try one size smaller.

Almost all airlines will charge a considerable sum for transporting skis. Nor is it very pleasant to carry your skis in a plane. Think about renting skis and boards that are always in good condition and have an optimal glide for the weather.

If you are already an experienced skier, be sure to tell about your skill level when renting. This way you will get the equipment that goes best for you.
