Finnish Avalanche Education
Finnish Avalanche Education is a national education system for avalanche safety. It is a result of a development project during 2015-2017. Finnish Avalanche Education promotes high quality avalanche education in Finland. It oversees and maintains the avalanche education curriculum, updates educational material and educates avalanche instructors. Finnish Avalanche Education is comparable with the Swedish educational program and follows the international principles in avalanche education. Finnish Avalanche Education is administrated by Finnish Ski Area Association and supported by a steering committee.
